Service ANSWERS

1. Do I need more than one estimate?
No. You are free to use just one or get as many estimates as you want, but it is not necessary. You can choose any shop of your choice and inform the insurance company.

2. Do I need to notify my insurance company before repairs begin on my vehicle?
Yes, only the vehicle owner can authorize repairs.

3. What is a DRP (Direct Repair Shop) shop?
DRP shops must meet certain standards that an insurance company requires of their repair facilities. Insurance carriers provide their customers with a list of DRP's - Direct Repair Providers. Gilmore Collision is on most lists as a choice for your collision repair needs.

4. What should I be concerned with when choosing a repair facility?
Referrals from satisfied customers or insurance companies. Evidence of employee training and certification through accredited industry standards, such as I-CAR. Repair shops who guarantee their work with a lifetime back to topwarranty.

5. Who is responsible for the guarantee of workmanship and safety of my vehicle repairs?
The collision repair facility is responsible. Choose a facility that offers a lifetime warranty on all work performed.

6. Am I responsible for payment to the repair facility?
Yes, you are responsible. Your insurance policy contract states that your insurance company will pay for damages to your vehicle, less any deductible amount. You can instruct your insurance company to pay directly the repair shop of your choice. But, full payment must be arranged befoe your vehicle is picked up.

7. When is my deductible due and how do I know how much it is?
Your deductible amount is due at completion of work. Your insurance adjuster should tell you how much you owe if you do not already know.

8. Who pays for a rental car?
If you have rental coverage in your insurance policy, you must specify to your agent when getting coverage.  Often claimants will have rental coverage thru the other parties insurance.

9. What should I do when I pick up my repaired vehicle?
Review your itemized final bill with your service advisor. Inspect your vehicle with your service advisor and have him show you all repairs performed. Look at the paint finish, exterior trim, and all details. Choose a shop back to topwhere satisfaction is guaranteed before any payment is made.

Rhino Lining Questions

  1. How much does it cost?
  2. Can I take it out?
  3. How thick is it?
  4. Does it fade?
  5. Does the lining require special care?
  6. What about the other accessories on my truck?
  7. Will the lining hold up in very rugged conditions and in temperature extremes?

Rhino Lining ANSWERS

1. How much does it cost?
Depending on the options (colors, over the truck bed rails, etc.) a typical truck bed lining will cost between $350 and $500. Because each dealership is independently owned and operated, prices will vary.

2. Can I take it out?
Rhino Linings are designed as permanent protection for your vehicle. The lining performs so well that almost no one has ever wanted or needed it removed.

3. How thick is it?
In truck beds, Tuff GRIP® polyurethane is sprayed on up to 1/4" on the floor and 1/8" on walls. For other applications, the lining can be sprayed on as thick as necessary.

4. Does it fade?
When a UV topcoat is applied, your lining will maintain its original gloss and color.

5. Does the lining require special care?
To keep the lining clean, wash it as you would the rest of your vehicle. Applying our Rhino Shine after cleaning will keep the lining in top condition.

6. What about the other accessories on my truck?
Accessories are best installed after the lining is applied. You should pre-drill all holes then have TUFF GRIP® polyurethane sprayed on to seal exposed edges before mounting accessories such as a fifth wheel hitch. The
linings follow the contours of your pick-up, allowing you to install campers, shells, or any other accessory that was made to fit your truck.

7. Will the lining hold up in very rugged conditions and in temperature extremes?
Yes! Rhino Linings will not warp, crack, peel or split because of weather or other environmental factors.
